Christof Hammerli | Executive Vice President

autopilot carChristof leads the Digital Infrastructure division at Landmark and has over 20 years of experience in various finance, risk management and corporate development roles. He is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing acquisitions with continued responsibility for asset and property management. Prior to joining Landmark, Christof was Chief Acquisitions Officer of Carter Validus. At CV he was instrumental in leading the development, acquisition, strategy and execution of two of the firm’s CV Mission-Critical REIT Data Center platforms. He was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, structuring and closing acquisitions, as well as strategic and operational leadership. Previously, Christof was Director of Corporate Development for Equinix, the world’s largest IBX data center and colocation provider, and the world’s largest public data center REIT (as measured by enterprise value), from 2007 through 2011, and before that worked for MetLife from 2004 to 2007, and Credit Suisse and Ernst & Young. Christof studied at the University of Tampa, has a B.S. in finance and management and an MBA with a focus on Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

John Regan | SVP & CTO – Data Center Acquisitions

autopilot carJohn is the technical and business development leader responsible for acquisitions and facilities engineering. His experience spans several decades from design, implementation and operations of systems, storage, network, voice, data, video and wireless technology infrastructure through facilities engineering, construction, project management and operations. Prior to joining Landmark, John co-developed and executed the business strategy for Carter Validus data center acquisitions that was successfully used in building two data center portfolios in excess of $2B in AUM. John is a recognized data center industry expert with experience developing and structuring deals as well as having evaluated more than 400 data centers throughout the US. John’s experience with Digital Equipment Corporation, PWC, Carter Validus and now Landmark create a combined total of over 30,000,000 SF in technology and facilities infrastructure projects and acquisitions amounting to more than $4B in transactions. John studied at Saint Leo University and has a B.A. in Accounting.

Jason Volk | VP – Investments

autopilot carJason oversees underwriting, due diligence and asset management and has over 10 years of institutional commercial real estate and infrastructure experience. Jason assists with the development of new asset classes as well as the management and origination of existing and prospective joint ventures, respectively. He launched the Digital Infrastructure initiative for Landmark in 2017 when he was managing the underwriting department. Prior to Landmark, Jason was a transaction professional in the commercial real estate industry. He managed teams that have underwritten over $5B in assets and personally closed approximately $1.5B including Office, Industrial, Retail, Multi-family and Lodging property with a Core, Core +, Value-add and Opportunistic investment profile on the buy and sell side of the trade. Jason has worked at national real estate firms that include AIMCO, the Inland Real Estate Group of Companies and HFF. Jason studied at Northern Illinois University, has a B.S. degree in Finance, a M.A. degree in Real Estate from the Liautaud business school at the University of Illinois Chicago and a M.S. degree in Finance from the Kellstadt business school at DePaul University.

John Dobo | Associate – Data Center Acquisitions

John DoboJohn is an associate on the digital infrastructure team and focuses on data center acquisitions. He underwrites, negotiates, and sources potential data center opportunities. Prior to joining the team, John worked in the data center acquisition group at Carter Validus where he underwrote and assisted in the negotiations of approximately $500M in data center transactions. Previously, he worked in the real estate advisory group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he analyzed investment opportunities, portfolio properties, and real estate portfolios for private equity firms, pension funds, investment banks, insurance companies, REITs, corporations, and private investors. John attended Florida State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Real Estate and Finance.

Valerie Silva | Transaction Manager

Valerie serves as a Transaction Manager for the Digital Infrastructure team focusing on Data Center acquisition and disposition transactions. She assists in managing PSA drafting and negotiation, coordination of due diligence and third-party inspections, closing and post-closing obligations to adherence of strict contractual deadlines, property management and lease administration duties, among others. She has over 13 years of combined experience in escrow, residential mortgage banking and commercial real estate dispositions, with additional time as a Loan Signing Agent and a Paralegal. Valerie has obtained 3 Associates Degrees in Paralegal Studies, Business, and Real Estate, an undergraduate professional certificate in Paralegal Studies and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate.
